Chapter 1.13

The sound of thunder came from overhead right before a crash and the ruckus laughter of children.
“What are you guys doing up there?” Gino called
“We built a fort.” His twins Tony and Samantha shouted down. “We need to protect it from the evil Von Ludwick knights!”
“The Von Ludwick knights?”
“Alexandria and Michael.” Sam called down.
“CHARGE!” a battle cry roared out. The twins screamed in terror, the n there was another crash.
“Alright you guys clean up it’s time for dinner! Where’s Robin?”
“In his room,” Tony said
“He didn’t want to play.” Michael added.
“I think he’s writing a song.” Alexandria put in.
Gino climbed the stairs surveyed the hallway. “wow.” There were boxes and pool noodles strewn about. “Yeah, pick all this up, it’s time for dinner.” There was a chorus of groans. “Hey if you do it fast, your dad and I will help you build an amazing castles in the backyard this weekend.”
“Promise?” Sam asked.
“Promise.” Gino smiled at hi daughter.
The kids rushed to clean the hallway, the promise of a weekend with their fathers ringing in their ears, while Gino went to Robin’s room. The door was closed. He was about ot open the door when he remembered Robin was thirteen year old boy. He knocked.
“It’s open.” Came the muffled response.
“Hey buddy,” Gino said to the back of Robin’s head, “ you okay?”
“I miss Uncle Kevin. A lot.”
“I know, and that’s okay. You’re allowed to miss him. You know that you staying with us is only until your uncle can figure things out with your Aunt Peggy. But you know we love you right? Romeo and I see you just like one of our own kids.”
Robin nodded, “I’m writing him a song.”
“That’s great kiddo. I’m sure he’ll love it.” Gino’s cell went off. He looked at the screen, “It’s for you.” He handed the phone to Robin.
“Uncle Kevin!” he exclaimed answering the phone. “Hi, Uncle Gino and I were just talking about you.” There was a pause. “Um, let me ask. Uncle Gino is it okay if Uncle Kevin comes over?” his eyes hopeful.
“Gimmie that.” Gino said indicating to the phone. “Did you seriously just ask that? You know you are always welcome here to see your nephew (and the rest of us ya jerk) whenever you want.” A pause. “Okay,….okay great.” He handed the cell back to Robin. “Hello? Okay, I will….I love you too. See you later…..Bye.” he hung up grinning from ear to ear.
“Feel better?” Gino asked.
“Yeah.”
“Good. Now go clean up. Dinner’s in 5.”

Harper's Island

Our wedding party is dropping like flies. Madison has disappeared and been found, I think she kind of enjoyed scaring the whole island to death. Literally. This show has gotten so good. I dont see why people haven't seen that. The story is great, I do feel slightly jipped on the deathes since the first episode was so gorey and violent they're all been kind of tame. But I'm okay with that. I hate to see it end, even though it will eventually have to since once everyone is dead the show will have to end. An hour never feels like enough.

True Blood

Season 2 starts tonight. Don't miss it. That's all.

One More Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I promise there wil only be one more week of non- activity. After that Hensenville will be up and running once again and are you all in for a treat. Next Monday we'll start right back up with Chapter 1.13.
Thanks for being so patient.

Harper's Island Ep. 4

This week’s Harper’s Island was a slight disappointment: the victim (a groomsman that I had forgotten was there until the episode began) accidentally shot himself when he dropped his gun after being startled by another groomsman. But the story itself is moving along nicely besides that. The creepy doom you’re all gonna die character has been introduced in the form of two characters a psychic and the bride’s extremely creepy 8 year old niece.
Hunter’s body has been found along with Uncle Marty’s money. Abby may be falling for her super cute island native ex-boyfriend again which I am totally okay with but the more involved he becomes the more likely that his death will be very, very painful. I mean a bridesmaid with a name I can’t recall was burned alive in front of her purse dog.
No one seems to notice that people are going missing yet. The bride and groom are kind starting to become morons. The wedding party and guests are not the most likable people in the world, while I fear for the native islanders. It’s sad. But it still has all of the wonderful bloody goodness of slasher flicks that I love plus I really want to know which person seems to really not want this wedding to take place.

Hensenville Chapter 1.12

The room wasn’t locked. Everyone told her the locked room was Kevin’s private study. So far she had yet to find a locked door in the whole mansion. She pushed open the door and took a peek inside. “Hmm…” she looked around outside the room before sneaking inside and quietly closing the door behind her.
This has got to be the forbidden office. Every other room had Mrs. du Blanc’s personal touch. She walked around the office scanning the books on the shelves. Most of them looked as if they’d never been opened, let alone read. As she made her way Kevin’s desk she saw that the safe was open. “Man for a forbidden office he sure doesn’t know how to lock up his stuff.”
She went to the safe but stopped when the paperwork on his desk caught her eye. She sat in the chair as the word infidelity caught her eye. “Well…this looks interesting.” she leaned back in the chair to read, then immediately snapped back up when she heard the door open.
“What are you doing in here?!” Kevin said startled.
“Um, the door was unlocked…”she stammered quickly replacing the paperwork she had been reading. “I didn’t realize-”
“It’s okay.” Kevin closed the door with an audible click. “I’m sure we can think of a way for you to make it up to me.”
“Um, like what?” Nikita was scared and intrigued at the same time.
“Like this.” Kevin took a few long strides to Nikita wrapped an arm behind her waist and kissed her.
She broke the kiss, “Mr. du Blanc, you’re married! I work for your wife.”
“I know.” Kevin said, “But do I care/”
He kissed her deeply again. “Do you?”
“Oh what the hell?” Nikita kissed him back, and pushed the papers off of his desk.

Sorry

So the latest Hensenville posts are late. I'm sorry. I've been sick and I am a full time college student, so school does have to come first. But tomorrow's chapter will be ontime. The next few weeks will be a little scattered. But just until the end of the school year. after that the schedule will stand and are you all in for a ride, because things are always popping up in Hensenville.

Harper's Island News

CBS has bumped Harper's Island to Saturday night because the ratings fell. Bring Harper's Island back to Thursday's! WATCH! WATCH! WATCH! Saturday night is unacceptable! Reruns of CSI and Criminal Minds will replace the time slot until the season finale of CSI:NY. Fine! but Harper's Island is a good show. It deserves a week night slot. No one is going to watch on a Saturday night. The show only has 10 episodes left. Put them Back on Thursday nights!

Hensenville chapter 1.11

Eddie got up to walk Dawn to the door. Now just remember what I said about your hair.”
“I know the color isn’t exactly professional for me. It’ll be back to normal in no time.”
She opened the door and gasped in surprise, as someone was standing in the doorway. “Sorry.-Oh my God! You’re Kevin du Blanc”
“Fashion?” Kevin asked.
“I work for Eddie, or at least I will be.” She patted the manila envelop in her hand.
“Ah, then how do you …”
“I followed the proceedings of yours and your wife’s pre-nup. You had the most wanted case of the year.”
“Dawn-” Eddie started.
“I’m so sorry. I tend to babble when I get excited.” She laughed. “Eddie, I’ll see you Monday.”
Kevin closed the door behind her. “New intern?”
“No, I actually hired her.”
“Wow. She’s gorgeous.”
“And she’s smart. Which do you think I hired her for?”
Kevin didn’t answer as he sat down knowing his friend and lawyer all to well. “How’s Brett?”
“He’s good. He claims to not be sleeping with that new bartender, but he’s way too hot for him to not be.”
“What do you care? You sleep with anything that comes through your door. Including my wife.” Kevin accused.
“Is that why you’re here, to drudge up the past. I thought we were over all that.”
“We are. For the most part. But I came here to discuss that pre-nup of mine your new girl was just talking about.”
Eddie opened a file drawer. “You mean this one?”
“That’d be it. What I want to know is…does that infidelity clause work both ways?”

Hensenville Chapter 1.10

Peggy looked around the room just past the curtain on the stage. Damn it. She thought. These girls are exactly what the industry is looking for right now. Young. Beautiful. Smart. Oh well, I guess that just means it’ll be more fun making their lives miserable. Fashion is a jungle girls, only the strong survive.
She walked up to the podium, “Bonjour! And welcome to L’ Aapparence! My name is Margaret du Blanc.
I hope you all enjoyed your breakfast. Today marks the beginning of your modeling careers. We take the fashion world very seriously here and we wish only the best for our girls.
“It will take hard work, practice and patience to make a thriving fulfilled modeling portfolio. Anything from a sale flyer to Italian Vogue is worth your time. Now I’m sure you’ve all seen America’s Next Top Model. They got some of their photo shoot competitions from this school. And let me tell you those are the ones we rejected as too easy. But that isn’t to frighten you at all. I always want to be honest with my girls. Now, if you’ll gather up your things and follow me, I shall take you on your tour of your new home at L’Appareance!

Hensenville Chapter 1.9

There was a knock at the door. Eddie put down the file he was holding. “Come in.”
When the door opened a caramel skinned beauty walked through the door.
“Mr. Luster? There was no one at your receptionist desk so I just-”
“It’s okay Dawn. Come on in. and how many times do I have to tell you, call me Eddie, it’s all a part of my open door philosophy.”
“Sorry, it’s just that, I mean you’re Edward Luster. I’ve been following your cases since high school.”
“Dawn, you’re babbling again.”
Sorry.”
Don’t worry. The awe will wear off. You’ll come to find that no matter how good a lawyer I am, I’ still just a man.” He didn’t even need to lay the charm on with this one. Within two months he’d have her in his bed and moved on to then next new face to walk through his office door.
“I know, I promised you lunch but with Tracey being out, I just ordered take-out. Is Chinese okay?”
“Yeah,”
“Have a seat.” He indicated to the chair he pulled over to the side of his desk near him rather than the one opposite his desk. He cleared his desk of mostly except the few files he’d been reading and some paperwork.
“Okay,” he started as they divvied up the food. “You already know how impressed I am with you: graduated valedictorian at 16, graduated top of your class from Hensenville University Law early and your internship her was extremely impressive. What I would like to know is,” he placed his hand on her knee, “are you willing to work closely with me, helping me with my cases while starting to get your own clientele together? And the better you get the faster I’ll be throwing things your way. Think you can handle that?”
“Yes sir- I mean Eddie.” Dawn corrected herself.
“Ata girl, that’s what I like here.” He smiled. “Now let’s talk salary.”

Hensenville Chaper 1.8

Now that the house was “empty” she could actually explore it. The du Blanc home was huge. She called it empty because the du Blanc’s had gone to work. There were a handful of house staff milling about their chores, but other than that she could safely snoop around her new employer’s home.
She started downstairs; most of the staff was in the kitchen, when Nikita walked in the conversation stopped.
“Lemme guess: Taking bets on how long the new girl would last?”
Everyone looked guiltily away from Nikita. Put me down for eight months.” Nikita said smiling.
An older woman started laughing then poured two shots of vodka. “Here kid.” She held out a shot towards Nikita.
“Drinking on the clock? Is that wise?” she asked walking over and taking the shot.
“Wise, probably not. Cheers.” They downed their shots, “But necessary to survive the day when you work at la maison de du Blanc. You’re her new assistant right? Don’t ever let her see you sweat. She’ll use it against you and make your life a living hell. She’ll hate you for your looks and youth.”
“Why are you telling me all this?”
“Because if you plan on running around the house and the streets of Hensenville with Mrs. Margaret du Blanc for the next eight months of your life then you’re gonna need as much advice as you can get.” She laughed.
“Nikita.”
“Constance.”
“So tell me, why did the other girls quit?”

Crank 2 High Voltage

Crank 2: High Voltage follows Chev Chelios, played by the always sexy Jason Statham, as he wrecks havoc throughout Long Beach, CA looking for his stolen heart.
That being said Jason Statham deserves so much better than the movies he’s taking. Nothing could save the bad acid trip that is Crank 2 High Voltage.
It started off in the usual Crank style of being fun, colorful and energetic with goofy characters and random violence. But the movie went from goofy to ridiculous to painful in about forty minutes. The public sex scene was more involved and longer than in the first movie. It was funny but it was not enough to make it watch-able. Even Jason Statham being HOT cannot make this movie better.

Hensenville Chapter 1.7

He should be sleeping. He knew that. But Griffin had unusual pull to search through the old Plaquemines Parish newspaper clippings marking his abandonment at the Boothville Venice Fire Station in Louisiana. Griffin loved his parents. But for some reason, he was starting to feel as if he needed to know who his birth parents are.
Soon after news of Baby John Doe spread around the state Japel and Rogen Spires drove down from New Orleans to Belle Chasse with their daughter Merietta and requested the honor of adopting the fire house baby. Japel was unable to carry another child and she and Rogen wanted another child. So Baby John Doe became Griffin Preston Spires.
The thing that bothered him was the note his birth mother left with him. It sounded like something out of a Tom and Jerry cartoon:
Dear Sirs,
Please watch over my baby, as I am not in a position to raise him. It is important to me that he is placed in a loving, health and safe home. He is to know that his birthday is the 17th of June. I am leaving him because I love him.
That was it. Why was his birthday so important? He was glad to have it but why did she bother putting it in the note? Griff needed to know.

Harper's Island Ep. 1

For those of you wondering when I was actually going to review something here it is:
HARPER’S ISLAND
is a thirteen week long slasher movie with soap opera plots. It has all the yummy goodness of a horror flick with the creamy center of a soap opera. The island has a murderous history which is exactly why former locals, Henry Dunn and Trish Wellington, want to have their wedding there, to bring good karma back to the island. Little do they know that most of their guest won’t make it to the nuptials, if they do themselves. In the first episode we lose two guests one of which never even made it to the island. The deaths are surprisingly gorey. I was not expecting that.
From Nightmare on Elm Street to Friday the 13th to Scream we’ve always been allowed to see who our terrorizer was, whether he came from Hell or a sociopath in a Ghostface mask. But what makes this scary is the fact that we haven’t seen out killer yet. The blockbusters should take that into account, not knowing who’s chasing us is way scarier than finding out who is.
Harper’s Island has also given us all of our favorite slasher characters: the damaged heroin, her love interest, the pretty girl, the bitchy blonde, the a**hole older guy, the extremely creepy little kid and of course the token black guy. And over the next 13 weeks one or more of them and several others will be viciously butchered. I can’t wait.
Harper’s Island is on CBS Thursday nights at 9c/10, and CBS.com.
Enjoy. It’ll be a scream.

Hensenville Chapter 1.6

“Hey Gabbie,” Sebastian started, “You know we’re throwing a party for Michael Banner on Saturday, and we wanted to get him something a little special, you know, so I wanted to know….How much can we get for 5 bucks?” he started laughing as he held out the cash.
“My pity.” Gabbie said snatching the bill and walking away. “And even this isn’t even enough to get you more than just a passing glance.” Head high she started for her first class. Let them think whatever they want, I know who I am. I do what I have to in order to survive. What do those spoiled brats know about sacrifice? She thought as she pocketed the five.
“Hey you little slut, give that back unless you’re gonna earn it.” Sebastian shouted.
Gabbie turned, “I did earn it. You got your passing pity glance.’ She leaned in to whisper, “I get paid big bucks for what I do. Can your mother say the same about your gardener?” Sebastian lunged at Gabbie, who ducked and side stepped making him hit his fist on a locker.
“Is there a problem Sebastian?” Xander asked, materializing out of no where.
“No, no problem, just a little misunderstanding. I paid. She didn’t provide the product.” Xander looked a Gabbie.
“Oh please Xander. You know damn well, I’d starve to death before I let slime like Sebastian Grimwald touch me.” she spat out his name throwing the bill on the floor. “Keep it. it’ll save you from bullying some poor kindergartener today. And tell Michael if he wasn’t so damn pathetic he wouldn’t need to have his friends pay for it.” she walked away.
“She’s right you know.” Xander said. “Oh and Sebastian, think about things before you do them. If you would have hit and bruised her, you’d have to answer to Ozzie.” Xander walked down the hall and into his class as the bell rang.

Hensenville Chapter 1.5

“Look I know it sounds crazy, but how else do you explain the earring?” Gino asked Romeo as he drove them to work. It was nice out so they took the convertible. Plus Romeo figured Gino could use the fresh air.
“Okay, I’ll humor you for a minute.” Romeo said over the wind. “Let’s just say she is alive. How is she doing all this? Talking to you? The earring? Has she done anything else? Tell you a clue to where she is? If she’s safe? Anything at all?”
“She’s spent the majority of her time just trying to convince me that I’m not just dreaming again. And the earring isn’t a coincidence. It couldn’t have been there the whole time, I would have found it the last time I cleaned the shower, or it would have washed down the drain by now. Carlotta put it there. She had to.” Gino reasoned as he looked out the window. Romeo wasn’t so easily convinced. “So you believe this is real, right? So when does she start telling you where she is? When do you normally see her.?”
“It depends. Less and less now. She’s tired, Romeo. Showing herself takes a lot of energy and lately she’s been making herself more and more corporeal. She looks so thin. We need to find her before it’s too late.”
“Why didn’t I see her this morning?” Romeo asked pulling up to the gate at Arcane Chic. He handed the guard his keycard, “Morning” then drove in when the iron gate opened.
“Maybe because she knows you don’t believe this is real. Or maybe she was tired; she’d been with me a long time. I felt her this time, Romeo. I could put my arms around her. I kissed her. I wasn’t just remembering. It was real.”
“You haven’t said anything to the kids have you?” Romeo asked worried.
“No, I’m not that irresponsible. I’m not going to tell the twins their mother is alive until I know for sure I can bring her home.” Gino was determined and his best friend couldn’t do anything but be supportive. If they could just find her body, maybe then Gino could get some peace.

Hensenville Chapter 1.4

“Kevvi! Could you do moi a favor and fetch my morning martini?” Peggy asked cheerfully. She was always cheerful when people who didn’t know her were around. What she hadn’t told the new maid was why the other six had quit. When Margaret du Blanc asked for a martini, the unwitting attendant had all of thirty seconds before she went off the deep end, especially if it was her first one of the day.
Well Kevvi (Kevin) du Blanc, her husband, whom she forced to take her last name, was the attendant at the time but he was no where near unwitting. He learned long ago to know when she “asked” for a drink and what kind she’d want, to have it ready before she finished her sentence, at least at home.
“Oh you are such a dear, Kevvi, I love my husband so much.” she said into her cell. Kevin rolled his eyes, you love the power you hold over me, he thought before leaning over to accept her air kisses.
“Don’t forget you have an 11:00 lunch with the newest group of girls, ma beaute.” He whispered into her free ear.
“Oh that’s right!” she squealed. “I just love fresh meat!”
Margaret du Blanc was the dean at L’Apparence modeling and beauty school. Every quarter when a new group of hopefuls arrived, she made a show of giving the girls a tour of the campus grounds and feeding them a meal that they would never have again on campus. She had to make it seem like this was the most important decision that they had ever made and that if they were dismissed from L’Apparence than they would never have any kind of modeling or entertainment career in their lives. It was almost true, Ms. du Blanc did whatever and whomever it took to make that a reality. Margaret du Blanc made and destroyed people and careers on a daily basis.
She downed her martini, “Kevvi, baby, have breakfast brought upstairs with Nikita will you. We’ve got to look out best for the new girls.”
“Of course, my dear.” Kevin said. Peggy continued her conversation as she walked up the stairs leaving Kevin and Nikita alone.
“Is she always this chipper in the morning?” Nikita asked happily.
“No.” Kevin said. “Do yourself a favor, and get out while you can. She’s only going to be like this for another month then the second you make the tiniest mistake she’ll have your head on platter.”
“Then why do you stay?”
“I have my reasons. You’d better get breakfast upstairs.” He warned.
“Yes sir.”
“It’s just Kevin. You work for my wife not me.”
“Yes sir-I mean Kevin,” Nikita smiled shyly at him as she left for the kitchen. Now there was a beautiful girl. He thought.
“Uh, Nikita, after you’ve taken Peggy her breakfast, come back down and I’ll show you how she likes her martinis.
“Okay.”
Kevin walked off to his private study. It was the only door in the house that Peggy allowed him to keep locked. He opened the safe in the back corner of the room and removed a closed envelope, then dialed a number by memory.
“Hey Eddie, it’s Kevin. I’m glad I caught you. How’ve you been?...Good, good. Hey, I’ve got some questions about my pre-nup. I was hoping you could help clear some things up. Do you have some time today?...2o’clock? Sounds great. See you then.” He hung up feeling slightly better about himself.
“Kevin,” he heard Nikita’s call.
“Coming,” he responded. Today might actually be a good day.

Hensenville Chapter 1.3

Gabbie and Xander walked down the street hand in hand. Being together was the only way those two made it through the day. Hensenville High wasn’t exactly a safe place for kids like them. The rest of the students weren’t forgiving that the honor roll kids also did less than respectable things for money.
Gabbie was a runaway and Xander’s parents were always traveling. They’d been leaving him alone for years now and when he found Gabbie he hid her away hoping she’d be safe. Then they met Ozzie. He offered them the family they always wanted in exchange for small favors. It was never a big deal at first. Be a look out here. Help move this there. Then once they were 15, he asked for more than they were willing to give and they tried to run. Ozzie sent his two best goons Slim and Tough after them. Xander was caught and Ozzie threatened to kill him if Gabbie didn’t come back on her own. She wanted to go to the police but couldn’t because they would send her back to her parents and she could never go back there.
Ozzie forced them to watch as he hurt the other as punishment for leaving the “family.” After that, they promised to do whatever he asked as long as they could go to school. Xander told Gabbie that if they could just graduate on time they could get out of Hensenville and as far away from Ozzie and the laws of physics would allow. The warning bell rang as they rounded the corner. Time for another day in hell.

Hensenville Chapter 1.2

Griffin stood on the roof of his apartment building. He came up here sometimes to think. He watched the sunrise over his city and smiled. He could never watch the sunrise without thinking of his beautiful Dawn, but he couldn’t help but wonder where it was all going. Griffin loved Dawn with all his heart, and he was sure that she loved him too but she was trying to turn him into something he wasn’t.
Griffin loved painting and helping people. He has a gift for both. Dawn wanted him to become a cop and then she’d help him open a gallery. But cops can’t always make sure justice is served. They are bound by rules and the red tape of bureaucracy. He wasn’t. If there was a need for help, he was there doing the right the especially when the law couldn’t. As for his art, that was for her. Griffin never knew he could make something beautiful until Dawn came into his life, but he didn’t need anyone else’s eyes but hers to see it and love it.
He looked at his watch; if he was gone too much longer Dawn would get worried. He could take the stairs down, but where was the fun in that. The closest fire escape landing was at least two floors down, but Griffin felt the need for an adrenaline rush. He stepped back from the edge to give himself a running leap off of the roof. He twisted in midair to face the building as he fell. He reached out his hands to grab onto the railing of the fire escape and his fingers slipped, barely giving him enough time to swing his feet out onto the landing below him without hitting his head. Griffin looked up and then down, “That…was close.” he said. He walked down the ladder on the side of the building as silently as possible before slipping into his own apartment.
“It smells like breakfast in here,” he said loudly as he walked into the kitchen from the living room window.
“We are celebrating.” Dawn said closing the waffle iron. “I passed my bar exam!”
“Baby, that’s great! Why didn't you tell me? Did you call Edward?”
“I was going to tell you as soon as I got home but you were working late so I decided to surprise you. Edward wants me to come in at noon for a lunch meeting! I am so excited! Working with Eddie Luster, would be the second best thing to ever happen to me.”
“The second greatest? You have been dreaming of being a lawyer ever since you were a little girl. What could possibly be better than getting your dream job at the most respected firm in the state?”
“Being rescued by the man of my dream, of course.”
“Oh! Well I hope that happens for you soon Dawn. I hope that I’ll do in the meantime.” Griffin smiled putting his arms around Dawn as she laughed.
“If it hadn’t been for you, I would have been-”
“But I was there and you weren’t. And I took the liberty of getting you an early congratulatory gift, because I knew you’d pass the first time around with flying colors.” Griffin walked over to the closet and pulled out a duffle bag.
“You go me a gym bag. How sweet…Are you saying I’m fat?!” she asked with mock tears, removing the now cooked waffle and pouring another.
“Come open the bag, girl.”
Dawn came over to the couch and opened the duffle bag. Inside were fingerless padded gloves and workout clothes.
“OhmyGod! You do think I’m fat!” she accused.
“No baby. I signed you up for kick boxing lessons. I want you to feel safe and to be able to protect yourself when I’m not around, especially when you’re working late on a big case. I said I would always to be there for you. And now I can be, even when I’m not. Plus once you get really good you’ll be able to kick some major ass.” he pulled her in for a quick kiss.
“Thank you Grif, for always protecting me.”
“Just doing my duty ma’am.” They both laughed. “Oh, did you look in the whole bag?” Griffin released his woman to go check on the food. “There’s a front pocket.” Dawn fished around the bag and took out a tiny velvet box.
“Grif!” Dawn started shakily.
“Don’t worry it’s not what you think it is, just open it.” he said washing his hands.
Inside the box was a white gold necklace with a flower shaped pendant made entirely out of amethyst stones.
Dawn gasped, “How did you get this?!”
“I walked into the store. I told the girl what I wanted. She put it in the box. I gave her the money. She gave me the necklace. I walked out of the store.” He poured another waffle.
“You know what I mean, you dork, where did you get the money?”
“Between working at the bar, the club and whatever gigs Romeo throws at me, I’ve got quite a bit saved up. And this was important. So I bought my girl something nice. Unless you don’t want it…”
Dawn walked over with the box in her hand. “You gonna put it on me or what?” Griffin swept her sun blonde hair over her right shoulder and took the necklace from the box. After he clasped it on she turned for him to see, her eyes hopeful.
“It’s beautiful.” He kissed her. “Just like you.” Dawn beamed. “Go take a look.” He said grabbing the eggs from the fridge. Dawn ran to the bathroom to look in the mirror.
“I love it!” she squealed. “I love you.” She said putting her arms around him as he scrambled the eggs.
“Baby?”
“Yeah,”
“What were you doing on the roof?”

Hensenville Chpt 1.1

Gino stood under the hot water streaming out of the wall in the shower. His blue streaked hair dripped down his back. The morning sun shined in the window as he washed his hair. He reached behind him for his shower poof and it was handed to him by Carlotta as she hugged him, stepping into the shower.
"You know how much I miss you right?" she said smiling.
"Well don't leave again and you won't have to miss me." he replied putting his arms around his wife."
"You know I have too. Come find me Gino." Carlotta said running her fingers through his hair massaging out the shampoo.
"You're right here Love, just stay with me. I promise I won't let you get lost again. Just please stay with me." he begged.
Carlotta kissed Gino pulling herself closer to him not wanting to let go. Gino held her tightly feeling the water grow cool and not caring as long as Carlotta didn't leave again. The sun shone brightly on the two of them when the bathroom door burst open.
"Gino are you done yet? " Romeo shouted over the sound of the water.
Gino opened his eyes and Carlotta was gone, "No. No. Not again. Carlotta come back please came back." he cried to the space where his lover had been.
"Not again" Romeo whispered. "Gino, get out of the shower. We need to get to work."
"Romeo, she was here." Gino said stepping out of the shower. "I felt her. I kissed her. She begged me to find her. I know she's still out there."
"Gino. Listen to me. Carlotta is dead-"
"We never found her body!" Gino shouted. He looked to the spot where she had stood in his arms in the shower. the sunlight glinted on the floor of the tub. Towel around his waist he bent to see what was there.
"Romeo, if Carlotta is dead. Then how did her earring get here?" He asked his best friend placing the jewelry in Romeo's hand. "I bought her this pair, she was wearing them the night she disappeared."

Introduction

Hey there guys, my name is LilyRei, and this is my blog: Eternally Mused. I called it that because I'm always inspired to write something. So here is where I am going to share my writings which can at times be completely random and my reviews of books, movies, music, art dance, television and anything else I can think of.
**Kisses** Enjoy!
